 This region lies on the direct north
from Kathmandu valley and it covers treks
in the Kathmandu
Valley, Langtang,
Gosaikunda and Helambu,
which are regarded as one of the easiest but tremendously beautiful
places of Nepal.
Its ranges, the Langtang Lirung, is spectacular while its forests of fir
and rhododendron delightful. The treks are an incursion from the Kathmandu valley’s
heavy Hindu dominance to the Buddhist culture of the north, the land
is doted with Stupas, mani
walls, Chortens and monasteries and the
flutter of prayer flags.
